Junior Customer Service Manager (m/f/d)

You want to do more than simply answer support tickets and would like to actively improve the customer experience? In this role, you will be an important link between our customers, our products, and our internal teams. You will resolve individual customer inquiries, identify recurring issues, and help us continuously improve our customer service through smart processes, automation, and AI.

Your tasks would be...

  • Supporting our customers across different communication channels and ensuring that their inquiries are handled quickly, empathetically, and solution-oriented.
  • Independently managing and following up on support tickets, while collaborating closely with our IT and Product teams on technical topics.
  • Keeping an overview of new or more complex customer inquiries and finding pragmatic solutions.
  • Identifying recurring customer questions and issues and translating them into concrete suggestions for improving our products and processes.
  • Helping us make our support processes more efficient and scalable through automation, AI-powered tools, chatbots, and intelligent ticket routing.
  • Creating and optimizing templates, FAQs, help center content, and internal guidelines so that customers can receive the right answers faster.
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the customer experience across our different products and brands.

You will fit well, when…

  • Enjoy helping people and can understand different customer needs and perspectives.
  • Ideally have some initial experience in customer service, customer support, or e-commerce.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically, including in challenging situations.
  • Work in a structured way, take ownership of your responsibilities, and reliably follow up on open topics.
  • Have experience with Zendesk or a comparable ticketing system, although this is not a requirement.
  • Have excellent written and spoken German skills.
  • Are comfortable communicating with colleagues in English.

What is the typical hiring process?

After your CV submission, our HR team will get in touch with you. The first call is to get to know the company and the position better; of course, you will get a chance to introduce your ambitious self then. After comes a call with your future Teamlead, which is followed by a case study. The last step is to meet the team and visit one of our locations. Usually. We will always inform you about the next steps during the interviews.

How long is the hiring process?

It will take us a week to get back to you after your CV submission. If everything goes smoothly, the interview processes can be finished in roughly 4-6 weeks.

What is it like to work at Wellster?

Tough question. We’ve asked some colleagues to describe their experience with songs. Some of the answers were: Rolling in the Deep, Oh Happy Day, Show must go on and Eye of the Tiger. What does it mean? We don’t know, we just know that people love it here :)

What language do people speak at Wellster?

Official language of the company is English. We operate so far only on the German Market - so some people/departments must speak German. All the other languages are super welcome to join “the most prevailing language” contest :)
