Deine Aufgaben werden sein ...
- Act as our second BIG-registered pharmacist alongside our current pharmacist — sharing pharmaceutical responsibility day to day and providing full, credible cover during absence
- Build the prescription operating model for each new European market we enter as part of our internationalization: how prescriptions are received, dispensed and delivered compliantly in that country, from first feasibility assessment through to first patient served
- Own the operating model, feasibility and delivery of our third-party fulfilment partnerships — what we can deliver and at what cost to serve; commercial terms are negotiated centrally, and you are the person who makes them deliverable
- Set and own operating models and service-level standards across both the pharmacy and our pharmaceutical wholesale operation, so the two work as one system rather than two
- Design and launch new pharmacy business and operating models — new therapy areas, new fulfilment formats, new service constructs — from regulatory feasibility through to live, running operation
- Lead our strategic pharmacy and wholesale projects: automation, capacity expansion, and building out our compounding capability
- Translate Dutch and EU pharmacy regulation into operational reality — what we are allowed to do, how we evidence it, how we hold that position with the regulator — and own the quality and compliance work that keeps a high-volume mail-order pharmacy audit-ready as volumes, markets and product categories grow
- Deputize for our Director Pharmacy on operational decisions, and act as a second senior point of contact at the site
- Work closely with our commercial brand teams, our wholesale team and our executive leadership so that supply, service levels and expansion plans hold together in practice
Du passt perfekt zu uns, wenn …
- You are a BIG-registered apotheker, or you are eligible for BIG registration in the Netherlands and prepared to complete it
- You have 3–8 years post-registration experience, and you have already moved at least partly out of patient-facing dispensing — a chain or online pharmacy head office, a pharmaceutical wholesaler, an insurer, or healthcare strategy consulting
- You have real fluency in Dutch pharmacy law and IGJ expectations — enough to tell the difference between something that is not permitted and something nobody has done yet — and enough curiosity about other EU regimes to work out what changes when we cross a border
- You think in operating models and unit economics, not only in SOPs: you can cost a fulfilment model, not just document one
- You draft, decide and close without waiting for a support function, and you are comfortable working at scale-up pace
- You can tell a commercial team that a partnership cannot be delivered the way it was sold — and then put the version that can be delivered on the table
- You proactively create structures, briefs and solutions instead of waiting for detailed instructions
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; German is an advantage
- This role is likely not the right fit in two cases: First, if your background is primarily patient-facing or clinical dispensing and you want to stay close to that work — valuable careers, but this role sits on the operating-model and commercial side of the pharmacy. Second, if you are a strong commercial or business development profile who is not a registered pharmacist — the registration is a hard requirement here, not a preference, because this role carries real pharmaceutical responsibility.
